Our Home

Our home, which was designed by Brandon & Anissa Allen of Allen Architecture, is featured in the current issue of 360 West, Tarrant County’s lifestyle magazine. It’s a dream come true for a few reasons, but mostly it serves as a reminder that we are thankful for those who helped us through this process.

I’m so proud of what we’ve done thus far (we’ve had a lot of help!), and we are honored to be featured in a magazine that we read and enjoy. Our home is, of course, a work in progress — we will continue to adjust and tweak our current set up, but that’s the fun part!

My Favorite Home Purchases

I put a list together of my favorite things I purchased for our new house. We made some big purchases, like a sofa, a king bed, and a dining set, but the items I listed below are mostly budget buys — with a few splurges — that would work for a new home or even a refresh for a current home. Most importantly, these items are the details that helped our house feel like ours.
